Evidence Reviews

Eden Openly Editorial

Evidence Reviews

Comprehensive, transparent reviews of the evidence underpinning transgender healthcare, clinical practice and health policy. Every review documents the available evidence, its strengths and limitations, and where uncertainty remains.

What is an Evidence Review?

Evidence Reviews are comprehensive syntheses of the available literature. They examine the quality of the evidence, discuss strengths and limitations, distinguish evidence from inference, and identify where uncertainty remains.

Evidence Reviews and Evidence Notes

Evidence Notes provide a concise five-minute summary of the evidence for clinicians, journalists and policymakers.

Evidence Reviews provide the full supporting analysis, methodology and references behind those summaries.

Every Evidence Note published by Eden Openly is supported by a companion Evidence Review, allowing readers to inspect the evidence, assumptions and limitations behind our conclusions.
